The Bolivarian Government of the state of Anzoátegui reinaugurated the Type II Supply of the Venezuelan Food Producer and Distributor (PDVAL), located in the San Diego sector of Puerto La Cruz, Sotillo municipality.
The space has a storage capacity of 113 metric tons, where basic items, protein products, food, cleaning supplies and vegetables are sold; for the benefit of more than 3,500 families belonging to 28 communal councils in the area.
During the reinauguration, Governor Luis José Marcano said that “years ago, consumption was almost entirely dependent on imports. Today, the effort focused on domestic production and sustainable policies allows us to keep our establishments supplied and move firmly towards the eradication of hunger.”
For his part, Mayor Jesús Marcano Tábata emphasized that once again the achievement of the Bolivarian revolution has been demonstrated with concrete actions, this time benefiting the families of the San Diego communal circuit, thanks to the policies implemented by the National Executive.
