“Here we are, guaranteeing the Constitutional mandate, sovereignty and expression of a people who went to an electoral process on July 28, 2024,” said Valladares, quoted by Úlitmas Noticias.

The state is in total normality, tranquility, peace and right now in fun, due to the festivities of the San Sebastian International Fair 2025. “This Sunday, some activities, typical of the fair, begin, one of them the Tour of Táchira by Bike. Everything is secured, the safety devices are ready.”

Regarding the border area, he explained that the preventive closure measure is maintained, guidance given by the President of the Republic and that it will last until Monday around 5 in the morning, when this instruction was lifted.

“The border is completely calm, at peace, business is working normally. The towns of San Antonio, Ureña, Delicias and La Fría are calm . There has been no attempt at anything, the area is controlled all along the border.”

Valladares recalled that in the state there is a permanent deployment of security forces. More than 3,500 civil servants are active throughout the region, always reinforcing the border area, and now the capital of the state and metropolitan area for the patron saint festivities.
