The Hydrological Company of Los Llanos (HIDROLLANOS) installed 248 Hp submersible equipment in the collection station No. 2, located on the María Nieves bridge, in the municipality of San Fernando, Apure state.

The submersible equipment provides a raw water flow of 320 liters per second (LPS), which will be incorporated into the La Defensa Water Treatment Plant. In addition, these works are aimed at providing a better drinking water service to more than 150,000 inhabitants of the municipality of San Fernando and surrounding areas.

These tasks seek to strengthen the water system in the state of Apure, under the premise of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to build a better future, guaranteeing the collective well-being of the population, according to a press release from the Ministry of People's Power for Water Care.
