This Monday, March 25, authorities of the Bolivarian Government took a tour of the spaces of the Car Market to inspect and verify the cellars with the hydrobiological products that entered the wholesale market and that will be sold at affordable prices to the people during Holy Week.

The supervisory day, called Madrugonazo Holy Week 2024, was attended by the ministers of Popular Power for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Carlos Loyo and the head of the National Trade portfolio, Luis Antonio Villegas, who were accompanied by the mayor of the Libertador municipality, Carmen Meléndez.

“The Ministry of National Commerce and its affiliated entities, SUNDDE and SENCAMER, support the fishing sectors in the market, so that the Venezuelan people are not conditioned in any way, guaranteeing them fair prices,” said Villegas.

For his part, Minister Loyo, indicated that the deployment is part of Operation Venezuela Eat + Fish and its purpose was to ensure that fish protein reaches every Venezuelan family.

During the day, 15 prosecutors from the National Superintendency for the Defense of Socioeconomic Rights (SUNDDE) were deployed, together with officials from the Decentralized Service for Standardization, Quality, Metrology and Technical Regulations (SENCAMER) and State security agencies, to guarantee the supply and fair prices of fish and aquaculture protein.
