The Minister of the People's Power for Water Care (MINAGUAS), Carlos Mast Yustiz, held a working meeting with the workforce of the Aguas de Monagas Hydrological Company, to evaluate and execute actions that improve service in the entity.

The minister evaluated the concrete agenda of action, together with the plans and proposals for community drinking water, rehabilitation and sanitation projects being carried out in the eastern entity, within the framework of the 1×10 of Good Governance, which will make it possible to strengthen the supply of vital liquid.

The MINAGUAS team evaluated the comprehensive rehabilitation works currently being carried out at the Caripito Water Treatment Plant, which has a processing capacity of 160 liters per second (LPS) and serves 23,466 inhabitants belonging to 23 sectors of the Bolívar municipality.

These tasks of optimizing the national water system are implemented by the Bolivarian Government in response to the call of Popular Power, whose main focus is on ensuring access to drinking water service in every corner of the country and improving distribution capacity throughout the territory, according to a press release from MinAguas.
