Bolivarian Government incorporates waste collection boats to work on Lake Maracaibo

A total of two boats specializing in waste collection arrived at the. Port of Maracaibo within the framework of the Master Plan for the Rescue, Conservation and Sustainable Development of Lake Maracaibo.

The information was provided by G/D Castor Pérez Leal, president of the Institute for the Conservation of the Lake Maracaibo Basin (ICLAM), during the unloading of the new units, coming from the People's Republic of China.

“We are supervising the arrival and unloading at the Hugo Chávez Frías Lake Terminal and Pier, located on the Maracaibo Malecón, of two boats that are destined to carry out the cleaning and maintenance of Lake Maracaibo,” Pérez Leal said in a press release.
