Bolivarian Government inaugurates Socialist Mission Base Women's Battery

Head of State established a telephone contact during the development of the activity

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, inaugurated this Saturday the Women's Battery Socialist Mission Base, located in the El Árbol sector, of the Isaías Medina Angarita neighborhood of Catia, in the Sucre parish of Caracas.

Through a telephone contact with the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, who was present at the scene, the Head of State provided details of the building.

Also present at the event were the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Menéndez; the sectoral vice-president of Territorial Socialism, Mervin Maldonado and the president of the Great Venezuelan Youth Mission (GMVJ), Genesis Garvett.

“The mission base has to be a space for multiplying next-generation missions. All the great missions, the foundational missions (...) In this base there is a youth zone, the fourth inaugurated since the launch of the Great Venezuela Youth Mission,” he said.

In this regard and with regard to the youth zone, he added that “the Bolivarian Revolution has always been waiting to democratize the internet, technology, knowledge, to bring it so that everyone has an equal basis, has access to technology, is incorporated into the battle of today's world”.

Meanwhile, the vice-president specified the different areas that the Mission Base has, such as hairdressing, barbershop and textile area, as well as training spaces for the different missions.
