Bolivarian Government inaugurates new operating room at Hospital Pérez de León I de Petare

The Ana Francisca Pérez de León I Hospital, located in Petare, Sucre municipality, Miranda state, has a new operating room to perform hysterectomy, gallbladder, hernias, otorrhoid surgery and pediatric surgery.
The mayor of the Sucre municipality, José Vicente Rangel Ávalos, and the director of the hospital, Carlos García, among other authorities, inaugurated the new operating room in the healthcare center, which already has four operating rooms.
“With the launch of this new operating room, there are 4 fully equipped operating rooms in the Pérez de León I Hospital, where it will have the capacity to perform more than 200 monthly surgeries, to treat various pathologies, especially the areas of traumatology and neurosurgery, among others,” said the mayor.
He recalled that a few weeks ago the blood bank was inaugurated, with the support of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, allowing for the expansion of the highly complex operations service.
He also noted that this and the other three operating rooms have high-tech equipment and a contingent of medical specialists in the different areas; “we continue to strive to ensure that the Sucre municipality has the best health service in all of Venezuela.”
