Bolivarian Government inaugurated Robotics Room and Innovation Space at the National University of Sciences

The National University of Sciences (UNC) Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán has a new Robotics Room and the Space for Innovation, Creation and Optimization (EICO), said the Minister of Science and Technology, Yván Gil.

Through a message published on his Telegram channel, Gil highlighted the importance of these new areas of study for the development of applied research and innovation projects aimed at responding to the country's needs.

In addition, during a tour of the spaces of the university campus, carried out together with the rector Gabriela Jiménez, academic authorities and the student community, the holder of the scientific portfolio noted the institution's progress in strategic areas such as biotechnology, information technology, programming, data protection and robotics.

Likewise, during the day, the authorities held a dialogue with the students to promote their participation in the “Venezuela Innova” call, scheduled for next December in the cities of Caracas and Valencia. At this event, the university community and technologists will be able to present projects with the possibility of opting for funding through the National System of Science, Technology and Innovation.
