Through the Muralist Plan, this Friday the Bolivarian Government of Anzoátegui inaugurated an emblematic mural in honor of Blessed Dr. José Gregorio Hernández in the El Espejo I sector of Barcelona.

The activity was led by the governor of the eastern entity, Luis José Marcano, who specified that the majestic picture is 12 meters high.

“It is very rewarding to see how our spaces are being reborn through effort, perseverance and love. We are very proud that this beautiful mural is in Anzoátegui and is one of the largest in the country,” said the regional president, who said that this work is in addition to the more than 150 murals that have been made in different municipalities of the state for 3 years.

During the activity, the external rehabilitation of the Barcelona Neighborhood Unit was also delivered, which will benefit 60 families with the beautification of the buildings and the waterproofing of more than 1,200 meters of roof, according to a note from the Government of Anzoátegui.
