The weekly public service day held in the Miranda municipality, Falcón state, provided operational solutions in the water and electricity networks to different communities in the town.
The activity was carried out by the Public Services Management of the regional government, in collaboration with institutions such as Vías de Falcón, the National Anonymous Telephone Company of Venezuela (CANTV), HIDROVEN Falcón and the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC).
In the Pantano Arriba sector, specifically on North Street, the North wastewater pumping station was installed and a third engine equipment was delivered. This action directly benefits more than 20,000 inhabitants, equivalent to about 8,000 families in the area.
Work also began on the relocation of a wastewater collector at the intersection between Airport Alley and Ayacucho Street. The project seeks to improve the sanitary and living conditions of around 60 families living in the sector.
In the energy field, progress was verified in the construction of the La Floresta electrical circuit, at the entrance to the Sports City. According to the rector of the Alonso Gamero Territorial Polytechnic University (UPTAG), Pedro Sierra Graterol, this infrastructure will facilitate the autonomy of several sectors and will guarantee the stability of the electricity service in the house of studies.
