The National Institute for Integral Agricultural Health (INSAI) agreed to the formal elimination of the Free Sale Certificate (CLV) as a mandatory requirement for the registration of agricultural or organic inputs in the country.

This was announced by the Minister of Productive Agriculture and Lands, Vladimir Padrino López, through a video published on his official Telegram channel, where he specified that the measure responds to the simplification of procedures promoted by the National Executive and to the tables for permanent dialogue with the Venezuelan productive sector.

According to information released by the holder of the agricultural portfolio, the elimination of this collection seeks to streamline administrative processes and accelerate the responses of the state body. With this resolution, those registration requests that already had the technical evaluation approved and were paralyzed only waiting for the CLV will be reviewed and promoted immediately.

The minister stressed that the easing of procedures does not compromise the body's technical rigor or control standards to protect soils and agricultural health. He also invited actors in the sector to consult the official statement published on the INSAI web portal to learn in detail about the updated procedures.
