After the effects caused by rains and hurricanes last weekend, the Bolivarian Government of Barinas, led by Professor Adán Chávez, deployed a multidisciplinary team to serve communities in a timely manner.
Carlos Guerrero (Commissioner of Public Services) and Reinaldo Sáez (Director of Civil Protection) reported on the intense tasks carried out, ranging from caring for families due to floods in sectors of Barinas, Obispos, Sosa, Sucre, Bolívar and Pedraza, to the removal of fallen trees that affected power lines and main roads such as Andrés Bello Avenue and areas in front of UNELLEZ.
Thanks to the “perfect fusion” between institutions such as the SIOT, Corpoelec, Civil Protection, mayors and organized Popular Power, it was possible to restore electricity service and clear critical routes.
Currently, preventive work is being carried out with the pruning of trees at risk on Industrial and Sucre avenues, under continuous monitoring to protect our people.
