In order to produce food free of pesticides for the Aragueña population, the Bolivarian Government delivered more than 209 Trabuco CLAP Kits to producers in 35 parishes in nine municipalities in the state of Aragua, as part of the strategies of the Great AgroVenezuela Mission to activate the Production Department of the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP) and grow food for more than 87,000 families.

From the facilities of the National Experimental Security University (UNES) in Maracay, Jhoanna Carrillo, head of the Ministry of Popular Power for Urban Agriculture (MINPPAU), together with Governor Karina Carpio, described the delivery as an act of social justice and highlighted the importance of supporting local producers with tools and resources that allow them to increase their production and contribute to the state's agricultural development.

“We are super happy, we are in the state of Aragua, a blessed land that welcomes us with fraternal warmth. This allows us to deliver, in the first phase, 209 Trabuco CLAP kits, which cost with a very strong bag and contain a machete, a sprinkler, good quality seeds, gloves, hoses, watering can as well as a good book that allows us to link ourselves to good agricultural practices,” said Carrillo.

He said that as in the rest of the country, more than 2,300 Trabuco CLAP kits have been delivered that will benefit 2,600 communities. “This is a guarantee that local production has to be strengthened, as requested by President Nicolás Maduro and Aragua does not escape that,” said Carrillo.

For her part, the governor of the entity, Karina Carpio, thanked the Minister of Urban Agriculture for her presence and commented: “The distribution of these kits is a sign of the commitment of the National and Regional Government to our producers. It is essential that we continue to encourage and support those who work the land every day and produce the food that comes to our tables.”

He thanked President Nicolás Maduro for the tireless support of President Nicolás Maduro and said that such initiatives are crucial for the sustainable development of the region.

Tibisay González, producer from the Sucre municipality and spokesperson for the Rosaines Chávez estate, expressed a few words of thanks to the National President for the kit received. “I thank President Nicolás Maduro for this beautiful project for us farmers in Aragua.
