The governor of the state of Táchira, Freddy Bernal, handed over the keys to 20 apartments to an equal number of families in the state, as part of the housing solutions built by the Ministry of Popular Power for Habitat and Housing.

During the day, the regional president shared with the beneficiaries the moment of the award. “Here we are sharing with you the joy, the tears of these women and these men who for years waited for this answer that today our government makes it a reality,” Bernal said when he handed over the keys. He also explained that the properties delivered have 72 square meters.

The new owners expressed their gratitude for obtaining their homes. Henry, one of the beneficiaries, expressed his gratitude to the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez. “A very special day for my family; thankful to God first of all and to President Delcy Rodríguez because she made the dream of having a home come true,” he said. For her part, Mrs. Judith highlighted the peace of mind that having their own space represents for her children. “They will be able to lead a quieter life, shining with hope and joy,” he added.

Families agreed that access to a home represents the materialization of their goals. The boy Tomás expressed his satisfaction at opening his room. “Very happy because I already have my own room, it was my brother and I's dream to have our own room, to have a little house. Transformed faith is a reality,” he said. The beneficiaries also appreciated the authorities' unconditional support during the award process.
