Bolivarian Government carries out a new phase of work on Troncal 05 in the state of Táchira

The Ministry of Popular Power for Transport activated a new phase of work on Troncal 05 in the state of Táchira and is making progress in channeling the Chururú River together with the enhancement of pile 1 of the bridge located in the Fernández Feo municipality.

The work focuses on downstream dredging as part of an early intervention aimed at preventing damage to the structure and maintaining the operation of this road, which ensures the transit of users and the transport of cargo that connects the Andean region with the rest of the country.

These actions take place in a stretch that has required continuous attention due to changes in the riverbed and events associated with rains, so the Ministry has incorporated stabilization and reinforcement work at different points of Troncal 005 to ensure mobility and reduce risks in seasons of higher water pressure.
