Bolivarian Government calls for consultation with its accredited ambassador to Spain

This Thursday, September 12, the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela called its ambassador to Spain, Gladys Gutiérrez, for consultation in protest against the “interfering and rude statements” issued by the Minister of Defense of the Iberian nation, Margarita Robles.

The information was provided by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, on his account on the social network Telegram, in which he specified that the diplomatic representative of Madrid, Ramón Santos Martínez, was also summoned “to appear on Friday, September 13” at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs”.

In the message, Gil said that the statements of the Spanish minister Margarita Robles, “point to a deterioration of relations between the two countries, he has decided to call the Venezuelan ambassador accredited to the Kingdom of Spain, Gladys Gutiérrez, for consultation.”

Robles, this Thursday 12th, called the administration of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, a dictatorship at a public event, according to statements published by Europa Press.
