Bolivarian Government benefits 250 women with contraceptive implants in Maturín

With the help of the Bolivarian Government in the Maturín municipality of Monagas state, 250 women benefited from a free operation for the placement of subdermal contraceptive implants.

This is an activity carried out by the State Institute for Women and the Family (IEMFA) Felicia Rondón de Cabello in the Type III Popular Office of La Cruz, where in addition to providing the service, they received guidance on the importance of Family Planning to avoid unwanted pregnancies.

The conference was held in synergy with the Ministry of People's Power for Health, the Institute of Health (InsaMonagas) and the Integral Health Area (ASIC) team.

Through a press release, it was announced that the activities will continue to be carried out throughout the entity.
