The sectoral vice-president for Public
Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabell Rondón, reported that electricity service is beginning to be restored in various parts of
Caracas after sabotage of the National Electricity System
(SEN) carried out early this Friday morning.
“Right now, some sectors of Caracas are beginning to receive
electricity, but it is a process that is happening
little by little,” he said and noted that it is thanks to the fact that the Bolivarian Government
acted immediately.
In this regard, during telephone contact
with Venezolana de Televisión, he stressed that the streets are in total
normality and tranquility. At the same time, he indicated that in the same way the security agencies
remain deployed in a contingency plan to protect the people
.
“Doing harm to our people, what
they do is strengthen the spirit of our people, strengthen the desire to
move forward (...) our people are on the street without any kind of problem, the right wing
would like to generate some kind of violence, but they are not going to succeed,
the conscience of this people is above this,” he said.
He reaffirmed that every action like this will have an immediate response from the National Government to continue to advance together with the People in the development of the Homeland.
