Bolivarian Government authorities monitor the rise of the Agua Blanca river in Sucre

Faced with the increase in the Agua Blanca riverbed , in the El Yaque sector of Cumanacoa, Sucre state, more than 150 officials from Civil Protection, Fire Department, Sucre Government and the Mayor's Office of the Montes municipality were deployed.

Currently, technical teams maintain constant inspections and monitoring to prevent any eventuality. They also urged citizens to remain calm, report incidents in a timely manner to security agencies and be guided only by official channels to avoid the spread of rumors.

The overflow affected more than 17 homes, in addition to causing trees and power lines to fall in the area.

Authorities confirmed that there are no injured people or human losses, and that water levels have already returned to their natural flow.
