Bolivarian Government attends collapse of bridge connecting Guanare with Biscucuy in Portuguesa

The Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, reported that officials are still deployed to deal with the emergency due to the collapse of the bridge that connects Guanare with the El Bongo sector of Biscucuy, located in the Portuguese state.

As reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), the minister indicated that the bridge collapsed in the early hours of the morning on Tuesday, November 19.

“The National and Regional Government are in place coordinating the corresponding tasks to address the situation generated by the recent rains,” he said.

The care work is carried out on site with the authorities of the Bolivarian Government in coordination with the Regional Government and the officials of the Civil Protection and the Risk Management System.
