The Bolivarian Government, through the General Staff of Infrastructure, began placing 1,115 tons of asphalt on the El Toreño road, in the state of Barinas. These tasks will allow the rehabilitation of 32 kilometers of road between the foreign parishes of San Silvestre and Santa Inés.

Quoted in a regional press release, Jesús Osorio, regional director of the Ministry of People's Power for Transportation, reported that the plan is being implemented in an articulated manner by PDVSA, in addition to the support of producers in the area. He explained that the formation, leveling and conditioning of the granular base was carried out with heavy machinery, in addition to the light and heavy patching.

In total, the Bolivarian Government plans to recover the entire road, and then deploy it on the roads that connect the state with neighboring entities.

Through the Asphalting Plan, the Bolivarian Government, through various road service plans, aims to improve the conditions of communication arteries to guarantee the mobility of the Venezuelan people.
