The rehabilitation work being carried out on Troncal 13, specifically on the Dos Caminos — La Fe section, at the height of the San Francisco de Tiznados and Las Lajitas sector of the Guárico state, continues with the purpose of improving road infrastructure for the enjoyment of drivers in the llanera entity.

According to the mayor of the Ortiz municipality, Alí Matute, light and heavy patching, road demarcation and side cleaning are carried out. These actions are part of a joint effort with the Ministry of People's Power for Transport, with the purpose of ensuring better mobility and safety for users of this important road.

Through the National Asphalt Plan promoted by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and Minister Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, more than 10,500 tons of asphalt have been placed in the area, and it is expected to close 2024 with more than 13,000 tons.

The leader of the Las Lajitas community council, Ligia Mireles, expressed her gratitude to the national and regional government for this work, which has been of great benefit to the community. “We recognize the effort and unconditional work that our president has carried out together with Governor José Vásquez; this process has been transformative for the development and improvement of Guariqueña's roads,” he said.

With these actions, the Bolivarian Government reaffirms its commitment to guarantee a better quality of life for the inhabitants of Guárico, through investment in road infrastructure.
