Bolivarian Government advances maintenance works on the Gran Cacique Guaicaipura highway

During this month of March, the Ministry of the People's Power of Transportation is making progress in carrying out rehabilitation work on the Gran Cacique Guaicaipura highway, one of the main roads connecting the east-west axis of Caracas.

In its account on the social network Instagram, the aforementioned Ministry reported that there would be a “partial closure for 6 weeks, in some sections from the Gran Cacique Guaicaipura highway to the junction with kilometer 16 of the El Junquito highway, in order to carry out rehabilitation work from km 0 to Km 10 of the Mamera - El Junquito highway, from 8:00am to 5:00pm”.

Another road affected by these works is the “total closure until March 20 in both directions of the Roosevelt Avenue Elevation in Caracas, work that will be carried out uninterrupted”.

These works, carried out by the working class of the Gran Misión Transporte Venezuela, guarantee the safety and mobility of drivers in the capital.

In addition, during the beginning of this week, crews from the Ministry of Transportation were mobilized to asphalt the Boquerón 1 and 2 tunnels of the Caracas - La Guaira highway and the recovery of several agricultural roads in the Caracas - La Guaira communal axis with the application of 36,000 tons of asphalt, placed on the specific road, thus recovering 14 kilometers of road.
