With the objective of guaranteeing an efficient and continuous supply of drinking water to the population, the Bolivarian Government continues with the maintenance and recovery of the Tuy III Production System, in the Valles del Tuy, Miranda state.

The conference is organized by the Ministry of the People's Power for Water Care, the Hydrological Ministry of the Capital Region (HIDROCAPITAL), the Government of Miranda and the Mayor's Office of the Tomás Lander municipality.

Authorities report significant progress of more than 50% in the 23 scheduled activities. Of these, three have already been successfully completed and 18 are in full development under the supervision of Minister Carlos Mast Yustiz.

The shutdown of the system, which began for 24 hours, has made it possible to comprehensively address the faults detected on the Ocumare-Charallave, Caícita, Santa Bárbara and Vallecito highway axis in Ocumare del Tuy.

Among the actions carried out are welding work, installation of girdles and mechanical joints, as well as repair of 2, 4, 6 and 8 inch pipes.

These tasks are essential to optimize the service and ensure the durability of the system, benefiting millions of inhabitants of Miranda, La Guaira and Caracas.
