The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported that the Integral Defense Management Body (ODDI) is active with the objective of ensuring surveillance in every parish in the capital.

“Caracas is in peace and joy, the Command Post of the Mayor's Office of Caracas is made up of a great human team, working on popular-military-police fusion to contribute to the protection of the people,” he emphasized

In this regard, he indicated that as part of President Nicolás Maduro's instructions, the Command Post is preparing for the Bolivarian Shield Exercises 2025.

He also reported that they took stock of the recent actions and are organizing for mobilization activities for January 22 and 23, to comply with the instructions of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros.

For his part, the leader Juan Carlos Alemán, considered it “an excellent initiative on the part of Mayor Carmen Meléndez and President Maduro, to have this command post activated, to deal with any emergency that may arise in the city of Caracas”.

This Sunday, the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, met with the Military and Police High Command with the objective of refining details of the planning of the Bolivarian Shield Exercises 2025.
