The vice-president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, assured that “those patarucos have dared to come to this state (...) where they have appeared, we have crushed them and we will continue to do so. Wherever they appear, there will be the invincible force of the people of the Bolivar state.”
This was stated from the Caroní municipality in Bolívar state at the close of a mobilization registered by the revolutionary militancy in support of President Nicolás Maduro.
“The patarucos are shameless people who have asked for suffering for our people, the invasion of Venezuela and now they believe that they can come to ask for the vote. Who can think of such insolence in the land of the Bolivar state? Let it not occur to them because with the same force of our Orinoco River we are going to go out and defeat them on July 28,” he said.
Rodríguez added “let them not dare to think that they can take political power to hand over our wealth and the Essequibo.”
