The vice-president of Bolivariana de Ports (BOLIPORTS), Orlando Torrealba Díaz, led a technical tour of the primary area of the maritime terminal of the port of Guanta, with the purpose of verifying the operational capacity and infrastructure of port facilities in eastern Venezuela
During the on-site inspection day, Torrealba was accompanied by a multidisciplinary team from the port, including the comprehensive evaluation of yards, warehouses, docks and specialized areas that confirm the solid logistical potential of the Anzoatigua infrastructure, BOLIPUERTOS press reports.
The strategic visit was attended by managers of the shipping company Universal Africa Lines Brazil (UAL), who expressed their technical and commercial interest in planning future cargo handling operations through this maritime terminal.
They also addressed key aspects in terms of draft, operational safety, service times for ships and availability of storage, laying the institutional basis for the definition and planning of the future commercial project.
