The Venezuelan under-20 soccer team won a resounding victory against its counterpart from Peru 4-0 and achieved its first victory in the South American category.

In the match played at the Metropolitan Stadium in Lara, second in group A, he was clearly dominated by the Vinotinto team.

The team led by Ricardo Valiño opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a goal from Bianneider Tamayo after a corner kick taken by captain Kervin “Tuti” Andrade.

In the second half, Venezuela extended the lead to 65' with an own goal scored by Peruvian Brian Arias after a poor clearance.
