The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the increase in briquette production capacity in the country achieved by the state company Briquetera del Caroní.

“In the first quarter of 2025, this company managed to reach 60% of the installed production capacity with its own efforts, and aims to reach 90% of its capacity by the first quarter of 2026", said the president of Briquetera del Caroní, Norlando Grudas during contact with the Venezuelan president.

Grudas specified that “with this level of production, Briquetera del Caroní guarantees the supply of domestic demand and under the PAE (produce, supply and export) guidelines instructed by the head of the national executive, part of what is produced is destined for export.

For his part, the head of state highlighted the work of Venezuelan workers and technicians who have been working in this process of recovering production.

“Nothing and no one is going to stop us,” he said.
