Barquisimeto: Juan Landaeta Educational Unit was rehabilitated and expanded

The Ministry of Education, through the Foundation for Buildings and Educational Endowments (FEDE), delivered this Thursday the Juan Landaeta Educational Unit, located in Barquisimeto, Lara state, after a process of rehabilitation and expansion.

The activity was led by Governor Luis Reyes Reyes and the Deputy Minister of Facilities and Logistics, Willian Gil, who explained that this work directly benefits more than 300 students.

In addition, according to a press release, Gil added that the works addressed the total recovery of the institution and the incorporation of a new module of four classrooms.

The project also included the refurbishment of the kitchen, the sports court and the adaptation of a school garden aimed at encouraging students' socio-productive and pedagogical development.

For his part, Reyes said: “We also have other schools that are being remodeled and as we obtain more resources we are going to inject them into education so that our children have quality structures with the support of our president Delcy Rodríguez,” he said.
