Authorities investigate new case of mass poisoning in Liceo de Cojedes

A new case of mass poisoning occurred this Thursday in Cojedes state, as reported by
the newspaper Última Noticias (UN).
According to the information, the incident occurred at the Manuel Manrique National Bolivarian High School,
located in Apartadero, Anzoátegui municipality, where 47
adolescents, one young person and 19 adults were affected after inhaling an unknown toxic substance.
The publication states that those affected “perceived a strong smell of soap, then some began to faint. Other symptoms included nausea, dizziness, vomiting, and some were even motionless.”
In this regard, the Minister of People's Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured, during the broadcast of the radio program Sin Truco Ni Maña, that this fact is being investigated by the authorities in order to establish the relevant responsibilities.
