Authorities honor the Liberator 203 years after the Battle of Carabobo and Army Day

This Monday, June 24, national authorities honored the Liberator Simon Bolivar, with the raising of the Tricolor Flag in the National Pantheon, located in Caracas, on the occasion of commemorating the 203rd anniversary of the glorious Battle of Carabobo and Bolivarian Army Day.

The event was led by the Sectorial Vice President for Citizen Security and Peace and Minister of Popular Power for Justice and Peace, A/J Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, who received the National Flag, and then handed over to the cadets of the Venezuelan Military Academy and was moved through the courtyard of honor to the main pole to be raised.

Also present at the event were the Minister of Popular Power for Habitat and Housing, Ildemaro Villarroel; the Deputy Minister of Internal Policy and Legal Security, Alana Zuloaga, and the Military High Command.

In the same way, the authorities signed the act to ratify their commitment to the Homeland to preserve the peace of the nation. In addition, they had the opportunity to enjoy the Joropo cultural event for the Brave in honor of this Homeland date.
