Authorities and the pig sector define action plan for the holiday season

The Minister for Productive Agriculture and Lands, G/D Menry Fernández Pereira, held a meeting this Monday with representatives of the pig sector to establish action plans for the distribution of this item in the country for the holiday season.
According to a press release from the Agriculture portfolio, during the meeting Fernández highlighted the growth of this sector and the willingness to cover with domestic production, “I am a faithful defender of domestic production (...) we require the commitment of businessmen so that this product reaches the people”.
This meeting is part of a series of working groups that have been held with the various productive sectors of the country for supply at the national level.
