The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William
Saab, warned that the Public Ministry (MP) will
immediately initiate a respective investigation into those who intend to usurp the
functions of the National Electoral Council (CNE).
The warning from the holder of the fiscal action responded
to recent statements by the representative of the right, Biagio
Pilieri, in which he assures that they will obtain the electoral records.
In this regard, he specified that, in compliance with the country's
legal system: 1) Whoever instigates or promotes the exclusive functions
of the National Electoral Council (CNE) in #usurpación, will incur #Delito.
2) Consequently: Because it is a crime of usurpation of functions that are specific to the Governing Body in electoral matters and whose purpose is to generate chaos and anxiety in the population, this Public Ministry will immediately initiate - if this occurs - a respective investigation and the author or authors of such acts will be #Detenidos based on what is established in the law and the Constitution.
