The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported on new actions by the Public Ministry (MP) regarding conspiracies that threaten peace in the country.

In this regard, Saab pointed out that in recent days the Colombian television channel Caracol has broadcast a “disgusting” report, in which it intends to wash the face of the conspirators of Operation White Armband, which is why he denounced the television station “of participating in a media operation, to disqualify all the work we have done, together with the security forces, to dismantle these conspiracies, which has prevented the destabilization of the country” .

The head of the fiscal action described it as “impressive as for international media everything that is violent, against the country, attempted coups d'etat, assaults and bloodshed on Venezuela is presented when the State acts as political persecution.”

Saab pointed out that this “false report” does not cite a single source from Colombia. It is built on the statements of the conspirators themselves and on alleged quotes from intelligence reports from US agencies.”

He specified that Caracol Television is owned by Grupo Santo Domingo, which, according to Bloomberg, is the richest family in the neighboring country, with a fortune of about 12 billion dollars, and that it owns 23 media outlets in that country.

The head of the fiscal action condemned the fact that the media are focused on the internal affairs of Venezuela, keeping silent in the face of events such as the genocide that occurs in Gaza.
