During a press conference with national and international media, this Thursday, the attorney general of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Tarek William Saab, revealed that the defense of Edmundo González Urrutia said that people outside the legal team did not allow the former extremist candidate to attend the three summons of the Public Ministry, derived from investigations into the fraudulent website, promoted by the terrorist María Corina Machado to sing fraud.

The prosecutor added that González Urrutia, in addition, wanted to appear before the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) to settle matters concerning the electoral dispute, but “they didn't let him, he is under great pressure.”

He stressed that much of the violence unleashed in Venezuela after the elections of July 28, including the deaths of two women and several officials, occurred due to González Urrutia and Machado's ignorance of the results issued by the National Electoral Council (CNE), in parallel with Astra's attack on the system of totalizing votes.

“If they don't sing fraud, this thing that happened in the country doesn't happen, which was terrible,” emphasized William Saab, noting that there were approximately 500 attacks as a result of González Urrutia's ignorance of the results.
