Attentive full-day Higuerote fishermen

More than 1,100 fishermen from Higuerote, Brión municipality in Miranda state, were treated for a full day.

This was reported by the Secretary of Fisheries of the governor of the entity, Johan Rodríguez, who explained that three unions organized through the Council of the People's Power of Fishermen and Fishermen, Aquaculturists and Aquaculturists (CONPPA), called Virgen del Carmen Patron of Brión, Marine Pergola and Accessible Windward, were served.

The secretary stressed that during the activity, seafarers received health and institutional care, as a result of coordination with the Socialist Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture (INSOPESCA), the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA), the Miranda Supply Corporation (CAMSA), the Ministry of Popular Power for Women and Gender Equality, the Somos Venezuela Movement and the National Integrated Customs Administration Service and Tax (SENIAT).

“These days will continue to be deployed in different sectors of the Mirandine coast with the goal of serving the largest number of fishermen through vaccination days, comprehensive medicine, advice to improve the development of their tasks and strengthen the integral development of the fishing productive sector,” he said, quoted by the state press.
