This Wednesday, the working class in Argentina began a national strike in rejection of the neoliberal measures of the extreme right wing Javier Milei.

The call is promoted by the main labor unions in the South American country, which are scheduled to start at noon on January 24 (local time) with a duration of 12 hours.

In addition, different events will be held in the center of the Argentine capital (Buenos Aires) where spokespersons for unions and unions, such as transportation, banking, health personnel and the public administration, will express their dissatisfaction with Milei's economic adjustments.

In this sense, the mobilization seeks to “confirm the strength of the relationship between trade union organizations and they agreed that the general strike this Wednesday will be a historic chapter for the organized labor movement ”.

According to what was published on the TELESUR web portal, this strike occurred 45 days after the inauguration of Javier Milei.
