Last Sunday, during an interview with LN+, the president of Argentina, Javier Milei, stated that after the failure of the Decree of Necessity and Urgency (DNU), one of the central axes of his Government in the Senate, there are still possibilities that it will not end up rejected by the Chamber of Deputies.

“We don't think that the DNU has fallen in Deputies yet, and it's also clear that, if it falls, those who drop the DNU will suffer the same fate as the red names and their faces from what happened in the Senate,” said the president, according to a publication published by Russia Today (RT).

At the same time, he pointed out that “decisions are public”, so that people will know “who are the enemies of society, who are those who are in favor of privileges and who are in favor of freedom”.

“Let them take charge of what they vote for. We are going to expose them,” said Milei. In the event that the DNU also ends up being rejected by deputies, the Argentine president promised that they will return “to the burden” with other similar decrees, other formats, until they achieve the adoption of their reforms.

Argentine senators rejected the mega-decree last week with 42 votes against, 25 votes in favor and four abstentions. The legislative proposal introduced by Milei last December is still in force, since the rejection of the Chamber of Deputies is also necessary to be completely repealed.
