The Argentine Ministry of Health reported that more than 527,000 cases of dengue fever have been registered in the South American country.


In this regard, he specified that this outbreak is 3.2 times larger compared to the previous year. However, in recent weeks, a downward trend has been observed in cases.


Through the National Epidemiological Bulletin (BEN), the Ministry of Health indicated that 97% of infections occurred in the first 28 weeks of the year.


The central region has the highest number of cases (60%), followed by the Northwest (24.9%) and the Northeast (13%). The disease has caused 412 deaths during the season, with a median age of 49 years, according to a note from Xinhua.
