This Monday, in Argentina, the general secretary of the Union of Onboard Dredging and Marking Personnel (DRAGYBAL), Juan Carlos Schmid, announced that on May 6, there will be a strike of all air, land, port and maritime transport activities in protest of the fiscal package promoted by the government of Javier Milei.

This action will take place only three days before the call for the second general strike carried out by the General Confederation of Labor (CGT) since Milei took office, to show the profound rejection of the severe adjustment policies applied by the right-wing government.

The Union of Oil Workers and Employees (SOEA) of San Lorenzo, one of the largest agro-export ports in Argentina, will begin an indefinite strike on Monday against the income tax and labor reforms proposed by the Argentine president.
