- 40 years after his disappearance, on January 19, 2013, the remains of Noel Rodríguez were located. The young man, an economics student at the UCV and Red Flag leader, was hidden by state security forces in a niche in the General Cemetery of the South, where he remained under false identification.
- Thanks to the tireless search of his mother, Zenaida Mata de Rodríguez, and the speed implemented by President Chávez, Noel's bone was found, so that Noel was able to receive the posthumous tribute from his friends and family.
