Members of the General Food Staff of Aragua held a strategic operational meeting this Friday morning, January 24, in order to coordinate actions for deployment in the territory and address the entity's most vulnerable families.
The meeting discussed the logistics to be developed to carry out the approaches, as well as the actions that volunteers will carry out to recover the entity's food houses.
“We are working to bring the nutritional deficit to zero in our state of Aragua, hand in hand with our food partners and CLAP structures. In addition, we are going to develop actions hand in hand with the National Institute of Nutrition (INN) to detect vulnerable families and care for them in a comprehensive manner,” explained José Diego Castillo, territorial director of the Ministry of Popular Power for Food (MINPPAL) in Aragua.
The conference included CLAP links, as well as the MINPPAL structure, municipal links, socio-food coordinators and the secretary of organization of the state's United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), José Gregorio Colmenares, who took the floor to give messages of moralization and awareness of political reality to those present. “It is crucial for all of us that we are informed and prepared to actively participate in the development of our Homeland. We have a peaceful and secure country and that's how it will continue to be,” he said.
