More than 170 pets received free medical care during a veterinary operation in La Victoria, Aragua state, where health personnel assisted dogs, cats and a parrot in the Self-Government Wing of the Camino Los Libertadores Commune, in the El Cementerio sector.

During the activity, Mayor Juan Carlos Sánchez, the city councilors, staff from the Mayor's Office of Ribas, the Aragüeño Animal Welfare System (SABA) and the municipal Animal Protection Management Unit coordinated the comprehensive services.

In this way, the specialists applied rabies vaccines, dewormed the animals, cut nails, cleaned ears and offered general consultations. It should be mentioned that Governor Joana Sánchez's policies promoted this community approach, with the objective of ensuring the health and protection of pets in the sector.
