Appointed commission to be responsible for the exhumation and transfer to the National Pantheon of Humberto Fernández-Morán

The Provisional Board of Directors of the National University of Sciences appointed a commission that will be responsible for the exhumation and transfer to the National Pantheon of Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán, who died in Stockholm on March 17, 1999.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), the commission was appointed during the regular session of the legislative council of this house of studies where it was agreed that the exhumation and transfer of Fernández-Morán to the Pantheon will take place in the coming days, to exalt historical memory and celebrate the legacy of one of the most outstanding scientists in Venezuela.
It should be noted that the ashes of this distinguished scientist are deposited in a small mausoleum, next to the mortal remains of his father, in the El Cuadrado Cemetery, in the state of Zulia.
It should be noted that the rector of the National University of Sciences Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán, Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez, chaired the regular session of the Provisional Board of Directors on Monday with the objective of dictating the rules for the academic and administrative management of this house of study.
