The communities of the Juan Antonio Sotillo municipality, in the state of Anzoátegui, this Friday, May 24, flooded their streets with a great march of the living forces of the Bolivarian Revolution, where they expressed with enthusiasm and joy their support for the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and their rejection of the imperial blockade.

The mobilization was led by the head of the “Venezuela Nuestra” National Campaign Command and Vice President of Communication and Electoral Affairs of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Jorge Rodríguez.

Rodríguez was accompanied by the main spokesperson of the National Command, Luis Marcano, and the entity's godfather of government, Wilmar Castro Soteldo.

The authorities marched with the people of Puerto La Cruz, from the Hernández Caballero High School, with revolutionary slogans and songs that reflected the love, the unity of the people and their decision to consolidate the great electoral victory of this coming July 28.

In his speech, Rodríguez stressed that the Venezuelan people have fought together with President Maduro against sanctions, “now we have the immense joy of saying that we are masters of our destiny, of our oil, of our lands and we are free and independent.”

In this regard, he argued that those who live in Miami in mansions come to ask for the vote of the people who attacked and attacked so much, “they were asking for sanctions and there was a man loyal to his people, who together with his people fought and defeated the sanctions.”

“Despite all the attacks, we have already defeated them and the conditions are already in place in Venezuela to build a future of peace, a future of prosperity with your hands,” he said.

He assured that Nicolás Maduro is a courageous man and despite all the temptations that imperialism offered him, he was always firm on the side of the people.

“More than once they tried to make him fall into a temptation and he didn't allow it. Maduro is a strong, firm man who defeated those gringos of the empire,” Rodríguez said.

He emphasized that “they wanted violence and insecurity to return and today I have to proudly say that Venezuela is the safest country in South America.”
