Óscar Sánchez Gil, Anti-Money Laundering Chief of the National Police in Madrid arrested this week, after having seized the largest amount of cocaine in the history of Spain and millions of euros, had been collaborating with a powerful drug organization for at least five years.
As reported by Actualidad RT, the first investigations suggest that Sánchez Gil, the Spanish police chief, received large sums of cash in exchange for information.
The investigations revealed that Sánchez Gil was responsible for covering up the entry of drugs in fruit containers from Ecuador.
