The National Assembly will hold a great debate this Thursday to present evidence about the plans of violence that the opposition had for our country and which were unveiled this Monday by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab.

This was reported by the president of the Venezuelan parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, who explained that in this debate, the AN will surely take strong measures to combat and condemn these attempts to sow violence and death in the country.

On the other hand, Rodríguez applauded the great mobilization of the Venezuelan people, this January 23, in support of President Nicolás Maduro and in repudiation of these attempts by the right to fill Venezuela with violence.

“The people of Venezuela will insist on being in the streets with President Maduro, until we can strengthen our independence and sovereignty,” he said from the aforementioned mobilization.

“Today's mobilization is impressive, it exceeded our expectations. The message is that what the People of Venezuela want is construction, to insist on economic recovery and true democracy, not on violence,” he emphasized while assuring that among the objectives of the National Government for 2024 is to return to the People the welfare state that was stolen from them with the sanctions imposed by imperialism.
