The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, during a press conference, denounced that the right wing violated the agreements signed in Barbados by conspiring in terrorist actions that were aimed at being executed in December 2023 and early 2024 through an operation called “Blue Bracelet”.

“The next time you think of signing a paper like the one you signed in Barbados, don't treat it like they treated the Constitution of 61, as if it were a dead letter,” he emphasized.

He stressed that while the opposition was signing these peace agreements for the country's sovereignty, they were already organizing Operation Bracelet, while noting that the agreements establish that the parties must reject any type of violence against the territorial integrity of Venezuela.

“I am going to give Dr. Gerardo Blyde (Head of the delegation of the Unitary Platform for Dialogue) all the evidence that has now been presented on these conspiracies and I am going to sit and wait to see what the position of the eight people from the Unitary Platform who signed this paper (agreement) will be,” he said
